Kendall brings with him extensive experience in LBM and component manufacturing, with a specialized skill set that allows him to implement organizational and process improvements, elevating the performance of the finance function and driving overall enhancements in company performance. His creative application of financial and operational principles, coupled with a deep understanding
of closely held companies in the residential construction supply industry, truly sets him apart from other consultants. Kendall possesses not only the ability to identify what needs to be done but also the prowess to execute it effectively in a way that endures.
Before his role as a business consultant, Kendall served as the owner and CEO of an integrated component manufacturer, lumberyard, and framing company for over
a decade. Under his leadership, the organization experienced significant growth, expanding from $5 million
to $25 million. His extensive background includes holding the position of CFO at multiple companies within the residential construction supply industry, contributing to the rapid expansion of a now over $285 million multifamily
truss manufacturer.
In his role as Division President, COO, and CFO, Kendall led and orchestrated the acquisition and integration of five bolt-on divisions across seven new markets and customers, resulting in 90% inorganic growth along with over 70% organic growth in the base business over four years.
His leadership extends beyond the corporate realm, as he has served on the Structural Building Component Association Board of Directors and Executive Committee for several years, culminating in his presidency of the association in 2005.
Kendall holds a Finance degree from Boise State University, is a CPA (inactive), and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Sharon brings substantial expertise as a senior finance executive to her consulting practice. Her background includes serving as the former owner and CFO of an integrated component manufacturer, lumberyard, and framing company. Sharon played a pivotal role in leading the successful implementation of a new ERP at what was then the largest pure-play truss manufacturer in the United States. Furthermore, she has demonstrated expertise in leading and implementing several ERP systems.
In her various leadership roles, Sharon has been responsible for overseeing all finance and accounting activities, including inventory and working capital management, preparation of financial statements, annual audits, and strategic analysis. Her strategic renegotiations of insurance, banking, and other overhead expense contracts resulted in securing over $100k in annual savings.
What sets Sharon apart is her track record of implementing financial and management systems that enhance the efficiency of accounting and finance functions while providing valuable management information to the leadership team. As a business consultant, Sharon brings a unique combination of finance organization leadership and a broad background in innovative technology solutions.
