We are partnering with a $300m multiple-location building materials 2-step distributor renowned for its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction in the Midwest. Demonstrating their commitment to growth, they have just finished building a new Greenfield location to service a market with significant untapped potential as they will be the only 2-step distributor within 100 miles. They pride themselves on their large diverse product mix ranging from general commodities to specialty products and ample inventory supply. Your opportunity to make an impact:
As General Manager you will inherit approximately $20m in sales that is being transferred from other over-capacity locations. You will have full P&L responsibility along with autonomy to tailor your business and inventory to specific market needs. A strong operational foundation has been set via a transportation fleet, ERP/WMS integration, and other company resources paving the way for you to build your team and make an impact in the market.

- Building materials distribution experience, selling directly to dealers
- Proven sales and operations leadership
- History of success in gaining market share by developing a strong growth strategy, identifying differentiating opportunities
