Misura Group Expands Consulting Expertise with Esteemed Consultant Jim Moody

Hudson, WI, 1/3/2024 — Misura Group proudly announces the addition of Jim Moody to its team as a consultant. With a proven track record of addressing the unique challenges faced by independent and family businesses in the LBM Industry, Jim brings a wealth of experience to Misura Group.

Jim's remarkable career includes a notable 17-year tenure as the president of the Construction Suppliers Association, where he dedicated his efforts to understanding and mitigating the challenges experienced by family lumber and truss businesses. Recognizing the critical need for addressing family business issues, particularly succession planning, Jim initiated and developed programs tailored for both next-generation and current-generation leaders. His compassionate yet direct approach has solidified his reputation as an expert in family business matters.

Jim introspectively asks poignant questions he often poses to those he coaches:

Are you pursuing your passion? What is your true purpose? If you believe you have a different calling, what are you waiting for?

The answers to these questions led Jim to make a bold career shift toward consulting in 2022, where he is eager to leverage his insights and expertise to guide businesses towards sustainable growth.

Before his distinguished tenure at CSA, Jim made significant contributions to various trade and professional associations. In recognition of his outstanding service, he was honored with the Clifford Clarke Award by the Georgia Society of Association Executives in 2017.

Jim's academic background includes a bachelor's degree in communications from Berry College, an MBA from Mercer University, and the successful completion of the Emory University Executive Coaching Diploma Program.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jim is an avid traveler and landscape photographer, seamlessly blending his passions whenever possible.

Tony Misura, Founder and CEO of Misura Group, expressed excitement about welcoming Jim to the team, stating, "We are thrilled to have Jim Moody join Misura Group. His extensive experience and dedication to addressing the challenges of family businesses align perfectly with our mission to provide strategic solutions to independent LBM dealers for sustainable growth. Jim's unique perspective and skill set will undoubtedly enhance the value we bring to our clients and projects."

Misura Group looks forward to the positive impact that Jim Moody will bring to its consulting initiatives and anticipates continued success with him on board.
