About the Role

The Business: 

We are partnering with an independent, full-service stocking distributor of quality building materials. Focused in the West Coast, they pride themselves on offering superior service coupled with integrity to independent dealers. They are experiencing high growth and are looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join their team.

The Opportunity:

As an Outside Sales Representative of a set territory in the Northern Bay area, you will inherit an existing business with approximately 25 established accounts. Your role will be to increase the breadth and depth through program creation, builder pull through strategies, strong relationships and acting as an extension to their business. You will also be developing new business through your understanding of the market and customers.

What you will need to be successful:

Success in an outside sales role within the building materials distribution or manufacturing
Experience in growing current account relationships, growing business with programs and additional wallet share
Development of new business, introduction of new products and utilization of builder pull through strategies
Strong territory management skill set
