The Business: Our client is a multi-unit, full-line LBM dealer with locations across the Southern U.S. This particular location generates over $12M in revenue, primarily serving pro-yard/contractors 90% delivered. With a customer-centric approach and a strong presence in their market, the company has cultivated a team-oriented culture focused on growth, excellence, and community involvement.

The Opportunity: As General Manager, you'll oversee sales, operations, and team management for this $12M+ location, playing a key role in the organization. You'll manage the location's financial performance, lead professional sales, and oversee daily operations, delivery, and inventory. You'll also serve as the face of the company, building strong relationships with customers and the community. A focus on team building is essential, attracting top talent, fostering a positive culture, and ensuring training and development for future growth.

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Leadership & P&L Management: Demonstrated experience managing a business with full financial responsibility, in the building materials space.
  • Sales & Operational Expertise: Strong knowledge of sales processes, inventory control, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Engagement Skills: A hands-on leader who enjoys building relationships with customers, contractors, and the local community.
  • Team Development Focus: Ability to attract, train, and motivate a high-performing team, maintaining a culture of collaboration and excellence.
