The Opportunity:
As General Manager of a newly expanded $50M facility specializing in lumber and hardware, you will lead a critical operation within a respected, long-established organization. This role offers the opportunity to drive growth at the location, focusing on both pro LBM sales and retail expansion.
You will oversee 7 direct reports and more than 50 indirect reports, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence and team development. With full P&L responsibility, you will optimize efficiencies across the entire facility, ensuring sustainable growth in both the pro and retail sectors. Collaborating closely with ownership, you will execute the strategic plan and guide a high-performing team to achieve key objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence: Continuously improve processes to drive efficiency, quality, and consistency within the location focused on both pro and retail sales environments, positioning the location for YoY growth.
Strategic Execution: Lead the tactical implementation of ownership’s strategy, ensuring alignment across all departments and adapting strategies to meet evolving business needs.
P&L Management: Has experience managing over $30M in P&L
People Leadership: Attract, develop, and retain top talent. Lead by example, embracing the family and community-oriented culture that aligns with the company’s values, while ensuring employee engagement and development.
Technical Aptitude: Must possess experience with POS/ERP systems
