Reading Recommendations
for Continued Study

If you’re reading this, you probably have already had a conversation with us and are now asking the right questions about how to increase your power and growth as a leader. Be patient as you work through your options as they are presented.

The following are the top books we recommend for interview preparation. If you prefer, they are excellent on audio too.

Our goals with recommending additional reading:

  • “What are you reading” is a common interview question. The interviewer is really asking, “what is your source of new ideas and system for personal continuous improvement?”
  • Increasing your communication ability articulating your skills as a professional. Clear, current and efficient phrasing during interview is important. Most professionals are not well practiced selling themselves and this is a great step in creating your personal “value proposition”.
  • The most confident professionals will state “I don’t know what I know as I am continually questioning and reaffirming the knowledge I think is accurate.” The things we are confident ‘we know’ that are actually wrong is what kills a professional’s career. Increasing your self-awareness and taking action is a proven method of reflecting adaptability.

We hope you enjoy these great books and put them to use as new tools as you continue to build your career.
